The Los Angeles Independent Film Festival 2000
Mr. Thomas Ethan Harris veiwed over 1700 movies between October and February to pick eighty of this years finest features, documentaries and shorts. As a result of viewing so many movies Mr Harris noticed his vision failing and had to start wearing eye glasses.
We here at ReelDV.com have seen Mr Harris in action, he is a hard worker and has commited himself to finding some of the finest movies for this years festival. Congratulations Thomas, on one of this years finest Film Festivals. Keep up the good work, but please don't lose your site over it.

This yeas recipient of the Indie Supporter Award went to Mark Pogachefsky and the film division of mPRm Public Relations. mPRm collaborated on campaingns for such films as Tumble weeds, The Cider House Rules, Boys Don't Cry and Being John Malkovich.

Wendy Bosley is the Marketing Manager of digital cinema for BARCO. Wendy says this is the first year LAIFF is using the digital projectors at the Festival. Wendy travels all over the world marketing these projectors for the future of digital movie screenings.
