Patton III gets the scoop on Huricanes supporting actor Vicellous Reon Shannon whom gave another brilliant performance in Reggie "Rock" Bythewood's Opening night film "Dancing in September". Isaiah Washington and Alton talk just moments after Isaiah is suprised by his "Dancing In September" co-star, Nicole Parker. According to Isaiah, "Reggie Rock Bythewood is more than very talented... He's extraordinarily talented... What he writes sticks with you after you leave the theater." Isaiah says that Bythewood, the writer, producer, and director of Dancing In September, makes audiences think with every project he creates. Bythewood and Isaiah first met during "Get On The Bus," which served as Bythewood's feature film writing debut.

Nicole Parker, whose chemistry is electric with Isaiah Washington in Dancing In September, credits Director Reggie Rock Bythewood's focus and passion, Isaiah's talent, and co-star Vice Shannon's talent for her sizzling potrayal of a young Television network sitcom writer who struggles with the pressures of doing what it takes to keep her show on the air. Nicole acknowledged that working with these talented gentlemen made overcoming the obstacles associated with completing the picture seem like "nothing."

On her way in to the premeire of Dancing In September, Loretta Devine spoke with Alton about her new TNT movie "Freedom Song" produced by and starring Danny Glover, along with co-star Vicellous Reon Shannon. She mentioned how proud she was to support the Hollywood Black Film Festival 2000 and looked forward to seeing Dancing in September. Loretta was a panelist at the workshop session entitled "Sistas Speakin' Up."

Actor Kadeem Hardison is glowing while talking about long-time friend, writer/director

Reggie Rock Bythewood. Kadeem explained that he and his buddy Reggie go all the way back to their days in New York at age sixteen when they would go out on auditions. Hardison added that he also admires Isaiah Washington's work,"so I had to come out."

Co-star of Dancing In September, Mel Jackson, discusses with Alton that audiences

must continue to vote for films like Dancing In September with their dollars at the box office. He also took the time to plug a new movie he has forthcoming with Mehki Phifer called "Uninvited Guest." Mel also reminded Alton of his new movie soon to air on BET called "Playing with Fire."

Actress Mari Marrow joined the premiere to support her best friend and star of Dancing In September, Nicole Parker. She was "estatic" to be supporting her girlfriend on such a special night. Marrow has a number of projects forthcoming. At the moment, the one creating some early buzz is "Book of Love" which includes writer/producer/actor Eric George,Treach(Naughty By Nature), Robert Townsend, Bill Duke and a host of other notable stars. Artisan is distributing "Book of Love."

Comedian Pierre has Alton in stitches as he comments about how hard it is for "light-skinned brothers in show business." According to Pierre, "I'm not letting dark-skinned brothers get back in until I'm really through with it this time... They ruled the 90s, but in about two weeks light-skinned is officially back." Pierre has a film with Leslie Nielson coming later this year, and he recently completed his inaugural project as a filmmaker called "For the Love of Money." Pierre says he hopes to release "For the Love of Money" later this year.
